Dr. Sarah’s Vision

Dr. Sarah aims to help individuals of all genders with physical, mental, and emotional wellness for their pelvis by providing quality education from an evidence-based, holistic, and professional perspective. She is also passionate in helping individuals with all types of pelvic pain, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, vulvar vestibulitis, vaginismus, dyspareunia, etc., as well as all types of bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunctions, including incontinence, urinary or bowel urgency/frequency, constipation, and sexual pain. Her ultimate vision is to have access to quality pelvic healthcare for all people, regardless of income or location.

My Story

Dr. Sarah Shimanek, DPT, WCS, PRPC is a physical therapist trained in women's health and pelvic rehabilitation. Dr. Sarah, or just Sarah to her patients, noticed a lack of quality education and resources for pelvic health and wellness, particularly in regard to those with pelvic pain and autoimmune issues affecting the pelvis. Sarah wanted to share the knowledge gained from her years of experience as a physical therapist for these individuals, bringing that knowledge to a broader audience who may not have access to a good pelvic physical therapist in their area.
